As we stress out with all the changes-remember that it's not the end, just the beginning. Today devotion is biblical but uses the following article. I provided a link for re full article at the end of this deviation.
$1,000,000,000,000 Has Likely Exited US Banking System As America Risks Global Economic Isolation: Hank Paulson
God’s Word is very clear on all subjects if one only takes the time to seek God and His Word for answers and direction. Despite all things political or how we feel about politics, we are wise to put that aside and look deeply at the issue of “isolation” as people from church (I.e. during the COVID lock downs were isolated, and now as a miss-managed nation, we have become isolated. God I speaking to us, is the body of a Christ listening? God has this if we will only head His wisdom in thinking rightly, acting prudently, and trusting faithfully. I want to share an article as seen below because I find it not only interesting bit essential in helping better inform you and the body of Christ as to the isolation of America. I suspect most (not all) the news we consume today to have some bias, but the issue of isolation is dangerous and one that I believe is anti-biblical on many levels.
When I think of "isolation", I am reminded at the “Great Dispersion” whereby the church was persecuted and “scattered” starting in ACTS 8. I believe God scattered the church/early body of believers was for numerous reasons-starting with God's plan to "multiply them". God had no choice but to but primarily to pry the church out of its self constructed “Christian bubble” the church had set up as a safe place to live outside of the world. We are called to “live in the world but not be part of it”, meaning we must live in the general population as a witness to Christ, but not live according to its worldly ways. In light of the article below, have you personally ever found yourself travelling on a path you didn’t expect, like those who were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria? Perhaps you and all of us in the body of Christ (in whole) are in the exact place where God intended us to be, even if we see it as THE END-PERHAPS, IT'S JIST THE BEGINNING.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2)
As nations and the entire geo-political world is in flux remember the one central truth that provides you with proper biblical context in light of how you and I are to think, act and speak-for we are citizens of God’s kingdom above all things, including the physical country or nation we may reside in.
“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ…” (Philippians 3:20)
“Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.” (PROVERBS 18:1)
The question now is how can God be using you as a citizen of heaven, to spread His good news in the place where you find yourself today-integrated not isolated? It's not the end, but just the beginning.
